Inktober Fundraiser

Every year in October, I attempt the Inktober Challenge as a way to personally challenge my own artistic limits. Each day I start and finish a small ink drawing (it’s a lot harder than it sounds!). While I’ve received interest from others about purchasing these little drawings in the past, in 2018, I thought I’d extend this challenge into a fundraiser for the non-profit environmental law group, Earthjustice.

Thanks to the support of family, friends, and even distant acquaintances, we were able to raise over $550 for the group based on a pay-what-you-want model for these little drawings. While this may seem like a modest amount in the grand scheme of things, I was personally touched by the enthusiasm and engagement of the community and am certainly inspired to pursue similar efforts in the future!
